Utah Trip- Fun In the Snow

Kaila got new Pj's since it's freezing in our house with no heater.....the part is "on order", says the company who put in our AC unit in May. A little late now. Thank goodness for my parents. They let us borrow their plug-in fireplaces. They make it nice and toasty and Kaila can touch them without getting burned. Very cool invention. Kaila was so cute though. She got a big cheesy smile and ran to show Will once her PJ's were on. She loves to show Daddy everything she is proud of. She even said "CHEESE" for the camera and smiled. It's so fun to have this silly little girl! We love every day. Can't wait till she's a big sister!

This Halloween was so fun. Kaila had a blast getting candy from everyone.

She loves to play dress-up, so this holiday is a fav!

We were Hippies this year. La-la wouldn't give up the butterfly wings, so she was a fairy- hippie.

Party Month!

Man, October is just full of party's here! We love it! Halloween is a fun time of year in the Mac Family. We always throw a couples Costume Party, a kids costume party, of course there's BUNKO, and even a neighborhood potluck.

My niece Makenzi turned 3 and had a little dress up party. La-la got to try out her Halloween costume. Loved it! She is goin to be a fairy. I decided to make little headbands with the flowers and ribbon and liked it so much I finally decided on that costume. Kaila was a bit fixated on the balloons. She had to hold one almost the whole party. The little girls were all so cute! Just had to post some pics. I can't believe my little girl is so big. She is taller than most kids a year or two older. She is not quite a year and a half old, but she is growin quick. We are buyin 3T clothes and size 5 or even 6 shoes! Yikes!

Family of Four

We have our nephew Jordan staying with us while he earns money to go on a mission. My nephews are all big boys....must be that poly blood. He's a good guy though. He is so sweet with Kaila. I am sure our house of 3 is so different in comparison to his family of 12. But now Will has another poly to kick it with. He loves his nephews like brothers. Everyone is happy : ) Plus, Jordan gave me & Will a much needed date night and stayed home with Kaila. It was great! We saw Eagle Eye.....very intense.....a must see. We are so glad to have Jordan here.

Here's some pics we took the other day when we went to the duck ponds all together. Kaila loves being outside and watched the ducks very closely. She didn't want to leave. She likes to make a kiss sound like you would to a dog- she thinks all animals respond to it I guess. It's really cute. I think we threw a whole loaf of bread to them. Those ducks were not so bright though...they kept waiting for you to throw it right in front of their faces or they missed it. One duck had a cool afro. Good times I must say.

Camping- Labor Day Weekend '08

Our family went on our very first camping trip! I have to admit....it had been over 10 years since I had been. Come to think of it, I never really have gone camping in a tent, other than on a beach. So in the woods, wet & rainy weather, and in the cold and mud made it a whole new experience for me. We had a blast though! We played with all our cousins up at the Dana's Ranch outside of Payson, AZ. We kept warm by the fire and rode 4-wheelers when the rain let up. We even ate smores and cocoa around the campfire one night. The kids all had fun changing 10 times a day...because of the mud that kept getting on their pants somehow? But it was beautiful there. Lots of tall, green pine trees.....a sight hard to believe exists in AZ. We had Kaila's playpin in our tent, but she wanted to sleep with us. By the morning after our first night, we realized the rain guard had fallen off our tent and everything...including our beds.....got soaked! Thank goodness for Mark's propane heater it all dried out for the next night. Kaila played with Kioni and all the cousins. She ate a lot of dirt and loved being outside (minus when it rained and mommy kept her under the awning). She is just like her daddy. Will played harder than some of the kids. He LOVES the outdoors... I am hoping he gets a calling in our new ward in scouts (that would keep his outdoor "itch" away for a while.) I liked it, but I think I am a beach or camper type girl. I like my warm, dry bed. Not to mention I get scared of animals when we sleep in tents. Overall, I'd do it again though. God really thought of us all when he created the beauty this world has to offer!

Our First Anniversary- Viva Las Vegas!

Will took me to Las Vegas for our first Anniversary. We never had a honeymoon, so we needed some time to ourselves. We left Kaila with her Grandma and Auntie in Thatcher and drove to Vegas. We had so much fun just walking the strip at night...all the lights and water features make it really romantic, minus all the not so cute stuff Vegas has to offer. It was weird not having Kaila with us. I felt like I was forgetting something the whole time. We went to a comedy show in our hotel, ate yummy food, and spent lots of time just chillin in our room. We decided we need to take more trips just the two of us. I love you Will!

Our First "Blog"

We were blessed with the most beautiful baby girl, Kaila Eloisa Tatafu, on June 26, 2007. She weighed a whopping 8 lbs 4oz and measured 20in. She had dark, wavy hair and the cutest Tongan nose ever. We were so excited to be parents of this tiny angel and could not ask for more....that is until we have another. Becoming parents was the best thing to ever happen to us.

Our little family had the most amazing experience in June 2008 when we were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple. It was a sight to bring anyone to tears as we held our little Kaila as an eternal family for the first time. What a blessing!We have been spending the last year in Thatcher, AZ (ever so small town, USA) and have missed the City Life. Will (English for Viliami) is going to school at Eastern Arizona College for Welding. He is the best husband and daddy ever! Tiffany absolutely loves being a mommy and plans to substitute teach this fall. She spends most of her time playing with Kaila, hanging out with daddy, or scrapbooking. Life is bliss with Kaila. She is one year old now and so sweet. She gets cuter everyday and her personality lights up any room. She can melt you with a smile and get anything she wants from daddy with a "peas" (please). She is the coolest kid and we are so lucky to be her parents. We hope to move back to Gilbert someday, but for now, we call this tiny town home.
